Rental Requirements
Licence:
- Drivers must have held a full UK licence for at least 2 years. Non-UK licences are accepted with proof of 2 years’ driving experience.
Age:
- 21–75 for standard vehicles.
- 25–75 for 7-Seater and 3.5 Ton vehicles.
- Over 30 for Group CS1 vehicles.
Licence history:
- No more than 6 penalty points if you’ve held your licence for less than 5 years.
- No bans within 10 years of holding a licence.
- No more than 1 accident in the last 3 years.
Documentation Requirements
- Proof of address: 2 utility bills (e.g., a bank statement plus a phone or electric bill).
- Full driver’s licence: Photocard required.
- DVLA licence check:
- You can generate your own code via DVLA Licence Check here.
- Bring this code with your licence when collecting your vehicle.
Additions
- Additional drivers: £5.00 per day (same licence requirements apply).
- Daily hire: 8 AM – 8 AM the following day.
- PM collections: Available for a £15 surcharge.
- Payment: Credit or debit card only (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron, Solo).
