Rental Requirements
Driver needs to have held a full UK licence for a minimum of 2 years. Non UK licence holders are acceptable with proof of 2 years minimum driving experience. Driver must be aged between 21-75 (25-75 for 7 Seater and 7.5 Ton vehicles) (Over 30 for Group CS1 vehicles). No more than 6 penalty points with under 5 years of holding licence and no bans with under 10 years of holding licence. No more than 1 accident within the last 3 years.
Documentation Requirements
2 Utility Bills which prove your address (Bank statement and a phone or electric bill etc..)
Full Drivers Licence - Photo Driving Licence Card
We also need to see your National Insurance Number which allows us to check with the DVLA which vehicles you can drive and see any penalty points or disqualifications you may have.
You can undertake your own DVLA Licence Check here: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence (Please bring the code with you when you come to the Rental Office with your Photo Licence).
Additions
Additional Drivers can be added to a rental for £5.00 per day. The same licence requirements are valid for additonal drivers.
Daily hire is from 8AM to 8AM the following day. PM Pickups are available for a £15.00 surcharge.
All hires must be paid for by credit or debit card (We accept Visa, Master Card, Maestro/Switch, Visa Electron and Solo). The cardholder must be present during card transaction. For excess purposes your card number will be held as a deposit during the hire period, but not charged.
